Its primary purposes are to verify operation and maintain safety within the electrical system. This test includes four key components: the trip test, non-trip test, thermal overload test, and instantaneous test, each evaluating the switchgear's resilience to excess current and heat. Overall, it ensures a reliable and safe electrical network.
